We are excited to announce our collaboration with the Langley Community Music School for this year’s Chamber Music
The Weekend Workshops will immerse students in chamber music with coaching by the exceptional musicians of the Borealis String Quartet, the Rose Gellert String Quartet, and Bernard Blary.
Chamber music coaching gives young musicians an opportunity to deepen their learning experience and develop higher level skills through listening, communication, and understanding of compositional form. A social form of interaction for players, it helps to foster respect and friendship as well as responsibility and accountability as part of a team. Chamber music coaching is an important component to a well-rounded music education in the effort to develop better young musicians.
Fee: $125 per workshop weekend
