The Surrey Youth Orchestra holds chamber music camps in the fall and spring terms. During the camps, students are formed into chamber music groups, and each group is assigned a piece of chamber music to work on. Weekly rehearsals take place either before or after the orchestra rehearsal. The program is specifically tailored for students interested in furthering their knowledge and skills in chamber music. Participation in this program is optional for orchestra members.

Spring Chamber Music Workshop

Our Spring Break Chamber Music Camp will take place at the beautiful Rockridge Canyon Resort in Princeton, BC!

At the end of February, we will have three weeks of pre-camp chamber rehearsals before or after orchestra rehearsals and three full days of rehearsals and concerts at RockRidge camp at the beginning of Spring Break. The camp includes accommodations, transportation, meals, and free time for RockRidge Canyon adventures.
